Refined linseed oil is pale yellow in colour. It is extracted using higher pressure than cold pressed as well as heat. It too, dries to a hard, durable film. Though it appears lighter in colour, it will yellow over time to the same degree as cold-pressed, so colour changes can appear more significant.
