Fill with paint and crimp over the end for storage.

Empty aluminium paint tubes from Kremer. An ideal way to store watercolour or oil paint.

Wet the interior of the tube with a little solvent as this will help the paint slide into the tube (Water if you're tubing a watercolour paint. Shellsol T or Turpentine if you're tubing an oil paint).

Push the paint in and 'tamp' the tube to ensure there is no air trapped.

Fill the tube, leaving enough room for you to fold over the open end. Paint will store very well like this as there should be little or no air in the tube.
