Lascaux Crystal is a range of transparent Acrylic effect colours designed to give unparalled brilliance and luminousity to artwork. When used over a light coloured background they give a subtle glimmer effect which varies depending on the angle of the light. Over dark grounds an intense transparent iridesence is achieved.
The 8 colours in the Crystal range are inter-mixable and can be used with all Lascaux mediums and additives (Be advised that matt mediums or varnishes are not recommended as they will counter-act the iridescent glimmer effect).

Lascaux Crystal is exceptionally economical in use since even a very thin layer will produce the effect.
The darker the supports colour, the stronger the effect will appear. Lascaux Crystal can be applied to virtually any surface and is suitable for various types of finishes such as paintbrush, roller or other painting tools.
